What is a GO Team?
GO (Global Opportunity) Teams are two-week trips designed to link local churches with overseas people groups. They work in partnership with missionaries and national pastors to accelerate church planting, strengthen ministries, and share tangible expressions of Christ’s love.GO Team members are people of all ages, all backgrounds and occupations. They build new relationships between themselves and others, between Jesus and the people of the world, and between their churches and churches overseas.
What do GO Teams do?
GO Team members might:- Make new friends and experience a new culture
- Make contacts with local people to connect them with the local ministry
- Immerse themselves into a ministry so they can focus prayer more effectively
- Use their building skills to help meet strategic facility needs
- Provide critical medical care to people with few other resources
- Help launch or strengthen community-based ministries to the poor
- And much more!
